The vanity bowl, storage units, and mirror are inexpensive stock item at the home improvement center. Wrapping them in a tile surround and adding a glass shelf for toiletries gave them a big ticket, custom built ins look.

Installing bigger windows made the bath even brighter and airier than originally planned and scooped in a broader view of the meadows and woods surrounding the house. Soft grey tiles underfoot suggest morning mist on the water, and hand painted murals on the walls echo flowers of the field.
